Completion of land acquisition and the commencement of construction on the manufactory, with production expected to start in 2025Q1

(2023/11/15, Hsinchu) CyberTAN Technology, a world leading Network equipment manufacturer, announced that it has recently completed land acquisition in Bac Giang Province, Vietnam, and has officially initiating groundbreaking for the construction of   a new factory. The new facility is expected to be completed in 2024, and it is planned to commence production in the first quarter of 2025.

Since 2019, CyberTAN Technology has been investing in factories in the Dai Dong-Hoan Son Industrial Zone of Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam. Starting from 2022, all production and manufacturing activities have been centralized in the Vietnam factory. Anticipating a diversified product line and growth from 2024 onwards, the existing factory faces overcapacity issues and is insufficient to accommodate the operations. To meet the growing demands, there is a need to increase production capacity and expand the factory space. After evaluation, CyberTAN Technology acquired land in Hiệp Hòa County of Bac Giang Province and the Hoa Phu Industrial Zone in mid-year, and officially started construction on the factory buildings recently.

The factory site in Hoa Phu Industrial Park, Bac Giang Province covers an area of 30,000 square meters. The planned construction includes a 4-story building with a usable area of nearly 60,000 square meters. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2024 and operational in the first quarter of 2025. The new factory is anticipated to create over 5,000 job opportunities in the local area and contribute a production value of up to 22 billion New Taiwan Dollars.

Starting from 2025, CyberTAN Technology will operate two factories in Vietnam. The types of products available for production and services provided to customers will become more diverse, including: Enterprise AP, Switch, Controller, WiFi Mesh Router, PON, Cell Site Router, IP Cam, Satcom Gateway, IOT Gateway, Printer & Monitor.
